Transfer Student Admissions Steps

Step 1: Apply for admission

Access the online admission application to apply now.

Step 2: Schedule classes online

Schedule classes online through LoLA (Delgado’s online student portal), Delgado's student self-serve portal (if you have never used the portal, follow the directions for first-time users). An official transcript from any institutions that you would like to transfer credits from must be submitted to the Office of Admissions. Additional documents required for admission are proof or immunizations or submission of the immunization waiver form and proof of selective service for males aged 18-25. An unofficial transcript can be used for advising purposes and obtaining registration overrides. To submit an override request, visit the list of registration error/override forms and select the form you need based on subject.

Step 3: Secure classes

Classes can be secured by using federal financial assistance, paying in full, or by enrolling into Delgado's payment plan. If you plan to use federal financial aid to secure classes, you must have accepted an award letter or have submitted all required financial aid documents to the Financial Aid Office by the appropriate deadlines.
