Please contact your Department Head, Division Dean, Executive Dean, and/or Vice-Chancellor to determine if you have been assigned a replacement computer.
Microsoft Office 2016 and Windows 10 are installed on all of the replacement computers, which means the user interface will change. Subsequent communications will contain details as it relates to basic software training.
In preparation for the computer replacement, you are required to copy all of your work related content to the ‘My Documents’ folder on your hard drive. You must complete this process in advance of our arrival. For instructions refer to the training and reference section below.
Once the data migration process is complete, please verify that all of your work related content is on the new computer. If you notice any missing content, you must report it to the OIT Helpdesk by Friday, May 5, 2017. Otherwise, any work related content stored on your old computer—that has not been copied to your new computer—will be permanently lost due to the computer sanitization process mandated by the State of Louisiana Office of Technology Services. OIT is not liable for any lost or missing information.
