Jericho Carpentry Training Graduates Recognized

A graduation ceremony took place June 13 for students enrolled in the Jericho Carpentry training offered by Delgado Workforce Development.

The graduates completed a rigorous 13-week, hands-on carpentry training which also included Green Infrastructure, OSHA 10 and CPR First Aid. They received the following industry-based credentials: NCCER Core, NCCER Carpentry Level 1, OSHA 10 and CPR First Aid, with a Green Infrastructure examination pending.

Jericho Road Episcopal Housing Initiative of New Orleans is a neighborhood-based nonprofit homebuilder that provides families with healthy and energy-efficient affordable housing opportunities. They partner with neighborhood residents, organizations and businesses to create and maintain a stable and thriving community.
