DePaul Community Health Centers

According to a recent report by the National Alliance of Mental Illness, 19% of the respondents enrolled at community colleges had been diagnosed with a mental health condition within the last five years. Further, depression and bipolar disorder constituted more than 50% of the respondents diagnoses in the same study.

DePaul Community Health Centers and Delgado Community College recognize that stress, family issues, and life circumstances can impact quality of life, physical and mental health, well-being, and academic achievement. To assist individuals with reaching their greatest potential, DePaul Community Health and Delgado are now offering behavioral health services on the College's main campus (615 City Park Avenue). Services are available to faculty, staff, and students, Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and on Fridays by appointment only.

Examples of behavioral health concerns that can be addressed by DoC staff include:

  • Anxiety
  • ADHD
  • Depression
  • Grief
  • Stress
  • Bipolar Disorder
  • Trauma
