The Advising Division of the Office of Advising and Testing is a multifaceted office that provides academic advising services to Delgado Community College students enrolled in  basic education courses, students planning to continue their education at a four-year institution, students on suspension, veterans of the armed forces, students with disabilities, and students seeking job placement or career guidance.

Academic advising is an integral part of the educational process, and Delgado Community College strives to provide a quality advising program that helps students make a successful transition to college life, learn to set academic, career, and life goals, and develop strategies for achieving these goals.  Our purpose is to guide students to become self-directed learners and decision makers.
