Grants

Unlike loans, grants do not have to be paid back, and they are awarded based on financial need.

The federal government has established the Pell Grant entitlement program to help undergraduates pay for their college education. Additionally, the state of Louisiana has established the Louisiana Go Grant program who need additional aid after receiving federal Pell Grant funds.
