Sade Coleman, a native of Detroit, MI (Motown), is the Assistant Coordinator at Delgado Community College. She graduated from Delgado Community College with an associate in general studies and Wayne State University with a bachelor's in social work and a Master's of Psychology with a concentration in Mental and Behavioral Health from the University of Phoenix. She recently graduated from Capella University with a second master's degree in applied Behavior Analysis. Sade began working at Delgado in 2022 in the Office of Single Stop, where she served students in case management, mental health services referrals, food assistance, and emergency funding. Before Delgado, Sade worked at the University Medical Center. At UMC, she served as a social worker in the Infectious Disease department and provided support regarding behavioral health services and multidisciplinary approaches for people living with HIV. Through her extensive background in social work, she strives to support students no matter what obstacles they face. She believes in the power of education and seeks to see everyone achieve their goals, regardless of size.

In her spare time, Sade likes to read, meditate/ pray, plant flowers, and travel with her singing group. Sade's favorite quote is, "At the end of the day, it's not about what you have or even what you've accomplished. It's about what you've done with those accomplishments. It's about who you've lifted up and made better. It's about what you've given back- Denzel Washington".
