Honors Program
The Honors Program is an academic program designed for the needs and interests of academically advanced and motivated students.

Honors Courses Offer

Selection Criteria
To enter the DCC Honors Program, students must have at least ONE of the following:
- 3.0/4 GPA at Delgado or another college
- ACT 22 or SAT 1100 or higher
- 113 ACCUPLACER
- High School GPA of 3.0/4 or higher
- Evidence of exceptional leadership or service
Graduation Criteria
To graduate in the Delgado Honors Program, students must have ALL of the following:
- 3.25/4 cumulative GPA
- 15 credit hours of Honors courses
- E-Portfolio
Honors Option Contract
The Honors Option allows students to earn honors credit in courses not specifically designated as “Honors.” It is activated when a student and instructor draw up an agreement specifying work the student should do to earn honors credit. The student, instructor, and honors director sign the contract, and upon successful completion, the student receives an “Honors” designation on his or her transcript.
