Buccolas Establish Sister Laurentia Walsh D.C. Scholarship

Rose Jeanne Buccola, pictured at left, was honored at the Delgado Charity Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Luncheon on March 24 for her endowment gift of $10,000 to the Delgado Foundation.

The donation, which will be matched by the Louisiana Board of Regents, establishes the Sister Laurentia Walsh D.C. Scholarship in memory of Victor and Rose Jeanne Roussel Buccola and will benefit students at the Delgado Charity School of Nursing. 

Mrs. Buccola is a 1949 graduate of Charity Hospital School of Nursing, and is pictured with Charity Alumni Association President Bryan Camus, center, and Dr. Cheryl Myers, executive dean of Delgado Charity School of Nursing, right.
