Search Begins for Next Delgado Chancellor

Delgado Community College students, faculty and staff as well as business and community leaders and members of the public will have an opportunity participate in the ongoing search for a new chancellor. The search, which is officially underway, is national in scope, with the goal of attracting the very best candidates for the position.

The Louisiana Community and Technical College System (LCTCS) has created an informational brochure to familiarize applicants and nominees with Delgado and with the community and technical college system in Louisiana.

The Louisiana Community and Technical College System invites nominations and applications for the position.  The target date for applications is February 15, 2019. The position is open until filled.  

The next Delgado chancellor will serve as a passionate advocate who believes in providing exceptional service to students and building robust business partnerships, and will possess a demonstrated commitment to improving access, student success and completion.

The next chancellor will provide inspirational leadership and will be deeply committed to investing in the development of faculty and staff, and collaboratively executing a common mission and vision. The chancellor will be expected to display high integrity and trustworthiness, and provide the vision and courage needed to ensure the continued success of Delgado Community College.
