Delgado Community College is proud to present Discover Delgado events during Community College Week, a week-long celebration from March 22 to 28, 2025, showcasing Delgado’s wide-ranging programs, dedicated faculty and state-of-the-art facilities. This is a perfect opportunity for prospective students, families and community members to explore what Delgado has to offer across multiple campuses. 

Louisiana’s Community College Week is an opportunity to showcase the essential role that community colleges play in empowering students, responding to business and industry needs, and producing a highly skilled workforce. Delgado graduates start their careers as highly skilled employees who earn wages that are reinvested into the local economy. In total, Delgado has a $588.1 million economic impact each year.

Here’s what’s happening throughout the week: 

Allied Health & Nursing Open House 
City Park Campus – Ochsner Center for Nursing and Allied Health 
Saturday, March 22 | 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. 
Connect with faculty, interact with students and tour Delgado’s state-of-the-art Ochsner Center for Nursing and Allied Health. Learn about high-demand careers in healthcare and the variety of degree and certificate programs available. 

City Park Discover Delgado Day 
City Park Campus 
Tuesday, March 25 | 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. 
Take a guided, interactive tour of Delgado’s main campus. High school group rolling start times: 9:00, 9:30 and 10:00 a.m. Individual rolling start times: 9:00, 9:30, 10:00, 10:30 and 11:00 a.m.

Wednesday, March 26 | 10:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
