Delgado Wins Two National Education Advertising Awards

Delgado Community College has been honored with two national awards in the 38th Annual Educational Advertising Awards (EduAd) competition.
Delgado won a Gold EduAd Award and a Silver EduAd Award for two video productions made by the college’s Communications and Marketing team in 2022.
The Gold EduAd Award is for the digital video “Delgado’s Economic Value: A Century of Service.” The Silver EduAd Award is for the television commercial series “My Choice is Delgado Community College.”
All the award-winning videos were produced with assistance from students, faculty and staff in the Delgado Theatre Program.
This is the second consecutive year that Delgado has been honored in the Educational Advertising Awards competition. In 2022 Delgado won Gold and Bronze EduAd Awards for two television commercials: “Your Bright Future” and “Online Continuing Education at Delgado.”
This year, over 2,000 entries were received from over 1,000 colleges, universities and secondary schools in all 50 states and around the world. In addition to Delgado, this year’s winning institutions included Tulane University, Southeastern Louisiana University, Princeton University, the University of Minnesota and Auburn University.
Judges for the Educational Advertising Awards consisted of a national panel of higher education marketers, advertising creative directors, marketing experts and advertising professionals.
The Delgado Communications and Marketing team is: Tony Cook, director; Leslie Salinero, creative services coordinator; Hilton Guidry, web content specialist; Todd Taylor, videographer/photographer/media coordinator; and Tyler Scheuermann, athletic communications.
