Motor Vehicle Technology Faculty Deliver Donated Components to School

The components will be used by high school students studying to become certified automotive technicians.Delgado Community College Motor Vehicle Technology faculty members Samantha Candler and Chris McDonald delivered a donation of two dozen engines, transmissions and other components from their department to the Livingston Parish Literacy and Technology Center in Walker, LA.

According to the school, the automotive industry has over 800,000 openings nationwide, and the average salary for technicians is over $30,000 per year.
