Delgado Mourns the Loss of Ed Marshall

Delgado Community College is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Ed Marshall. Mr. Marshall was one of the founding members of the Delgado Foundation Board. He was an ardent supporter of Delgado and his boundless enthusiasm for the College was an inspiration for anyone who knew him.

Delgado Foundation Chair Lee Giorgio said, “Ed Marshall was a very dedicated member of our Board. He was always ready to advocate for the College and supported Delgado financially and with his time and considerable talents.”

"Ed Marshall was a great friend of the College,” said Chancellor Larissa Littleton-Steib. “He was always ready to make a connection, offer sage advice, or provide financial support. His deep ties to the community made him an invaluable resource in connecting Delgado to industry partners. My heart goes out to his wife Carmella, his daughter Kristina, and all of his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.”

Mr. Marshall led a varied career, working in television journalism, corporate finance, and media relations. He combined his interests and expertise to found Ed Marshall & Associates (EMA) Public Relations-Image Consultants LLC. He also hosted many shows on WLAE, including “Money Talks with Ed Marshall,” which had a viewership of 1.5 million people. His skills as a communicator were invaluable to Delgado as he seized every opportunity to promote the College.
