Single Moms Success Gallery Walk at the City Park Campus

New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell and Delgado Chancellor Larissa Littleton-Steib were among dozens of people participating in the Single Moms Success Gallery Walk at the City Park Campus on Monday, Sept. 23.

The Gallery Walk featured a large and diverse display of first-person information obtained from Delgado faculty, staff and single-mother learners.  Reading and reflecting on the gallery, participants were able to ground themselves in single-mother learners’ experiences, perspectives and needs and to draw new insights about how they might better support their success. 

In remarks to those assembled, Mayor Cantrell spoke about her own experiences as the daughter of a single mother and thanked the Education Design Lab for bringing the initiative to Delgado and New Orleans.
