Delgado School of Construction Arts & Technical Studies Shines at 2025 SkillsUSA Louisiana Statewide Competition

On Wednesday, March 26, and Thursday, March 27, the Delgado School of Construction Arts & Technical Studies proudly hosted the 2025 SkillsUSA Louisiana Statewide Competition, held this year in New Orleans. Student competitions were held at three key locations: the Morial Convention Center, Delgado’s Sidney Collier Site, and the River City Site.

Programs that participated in the competition included Welding, Motor Vehicle Technology, Architectural Design/Construction Technology, Esthetics and Cosmetology, and Electrical. We extend our sincere appreciation to the dedicated faculty from these programs for their ongoing support and for serving as faculty advisors during the event.

A special thank you goes to Mrs. Alison Bordelon for her outstanding coordination efforts year after year, and to Chris McDonald from the MOVH Program for his support in mentoring new faculty and students participating in this year’s competition.

Cosmetology

Motor Vehicle Technology – Related Technical Math

Bronze: Ronel Clyde Dalmacion
