Steven Edwards Continues to Lead Outstanding Symphony Chorus Concerts

Honors Director Steven Edwards has been the music director of Symphony Chorus of New Orleans for nearly 35 years. Under his leadership, the chorus has received critical acclaim for its programs' quality and variety. His work in the Honors Program is no less stellar – he was named a National Collegiate Honors Council fellow this year.

Symphony Chorus presents its final concert of the season – Mozart Meets Puccini – at 3 p.m. on May 26, 2024, at St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic Church. Tickets ($15-$75) are available at www.symphonychorus.org and at the door.

And this summer Edwards will take members of the chorus to Paris where they will again perform Mozart’s “Sparrow Mass,” along with other renowned compositions including requiems by Fauré and Mozart.
