Groundbreaking Announced for Delgado West Bank Campus Advanced Technology Center

Delgado Community College announces a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Delgado West Bank Campus Advanced Technology Center on Friday, May 31, beginning at 10 a.m.

This $13 million investment in Delgado’s future will create a new 37,000-square-foot facility and provide the capacity to serve an additional 2,000 students at the Delgado West Bank Campus, which currently enrolls 2,500. The Advanced Technology Center will focus on the healthcare, petrochemical, digital media and transportation logistics industries.

The groundbreaking will take place at the corner of Shirley Drive and Constellation Street on the Delgado West Bank Campus in Algiers. The Delgado West Bank Campus is located at 2600 Gen. Meyer Avenue.

Delgado Interim Chancellor William Wainwright will be joined by educational, industry, government and economic development officials for the ceremony.
