Emily Cosper began her career at Delgado in 1997 as an adjunct instructor of English. Today, she is a Professor of English and the Dean of Liberal Arts, Social Science, and Education. A school that includes Academic Literacy, American Sign Language Studies, College and Career Success Skills, English, English as a Second Language, French, and Spanish. During her 25 years at Delgado, she has graded thousands of papers, taught hundreds of classes, and spent untold hours in the company of students. She has a deep commitment to these students, the faculty, and the college. She earned her B.A. in English at Metropolitan State University in Denver, and her M.A. in English at the University of New Orleans. She moved to New Orleans 28 years ago and continues to be amazed and enamored by the city. In her spare time, she likes to read, write, garden, and hang out with her dog, cats, and husband. |
