Delgado Community College Recognized for Online Learning Excellence

U.S. Department of Education data indicate that Delgado Community College is among the fastest-growing online higher education providers in the nation. Online enrollment at Delgado has reached 11,791, with students living in 20 states.

Delgado has also been ranked among the 50 best online community colleges nationwide by Best Value Schools and is the only Louisiana community college to be ranked.

Delgado Online offers five online degrees and seven certificates. Courses can be completed in traditional semesters or in accelerated eight-week sessions. It is convenient, affordable, accredited and perfect for adult students seeking a college degree.

Delgado Online was spotlighted recently by "The New Orleans 100," an online newsletter published by Gambel Communications that delivers 100-word stories and 100-second videos on topics of intrigue in New Orleans. "The New Orleans 100" is a member of The 100 Companies publishing network.

The Delgado Online focus appeared in a special issue of "The New Orleans 100" on the topic of education in New Orleans.

In another recent development, AffordableCollegesOnline.org (ACO), a leader in higher education information, resources and rankings has recognized Delgado Community College for excellence in online learning.
