Welding Upgrade Training

Program Description

This open entry/open exit, 12-week program offers semi-skilled welders the opportunity to enhance their existing welding skills, learn new welding processes so they may advance in their welding careers, or get a better job that pays more! You may start anytime to begin your 12 consecutive week program!

Note: The welding instructor is bilingual (Spanish).

The program includes training In:

• SMAW
• FCAW
• GMAW
• GTAW

When and Where

Training sessions take place on Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon for 12 consecutive weeks at Delgado River City Site, 709 Churchill Parkway, Avondale, LA 70094

Requirements

You must pass the entrance welding test in either SMAW or FCAW Vertical and Overhead Filet or Groove to participate in this training program.
