Visiting Students
Visitors are transfer applicants attending Delgado Community College for one semester and are returning to their home institution the following semester.
Step 1: Apply for admission
Access the online admissions application to apply now. Documents required for admission are proof of immunizations or submission of the immunization waiver form and proof of selective service for males aged 18-25.
An official transcript is not required for admissions, however visitors may need to provide an unofficial transcript or grade report to verify they have completed course prerequisites.
Step 2: Schedule classes online
Schedule classes online through LoLA (Delgado’s online student portal), Delgado's student self-serve portal. If you need assistance with LoLA, follow these steps to get started. .
To request a registration override for a pre-requisite course completed at your home institution, visit the list of registration error/override forms and select the form you need based on subject.
Step 3: Secure classes
Visiting students are not eligible for financial aid. Classes can be secured by paying in full, or by enrolling into Delgado's payment plan. Learn more about securing classes.
