Workforce Development offers personal, professional, and customized trainings for our local community. Whether you are a small business owner looking to upgrade the skills of the existing workforce or an individual looking to enter into the healthcare industry, the team at Delgado Community College Workforce Development is here to help you! We also offer training for our youth between the ages of 18-24 in high demand occupations and career services to provide training to help people transition to work.

The Louisiana Healthcare Connection and the Louisiana Community and Technical College systems – Equity in Health and Care Initiative – Scholarship Application
The scholarship is being offered through the workforce division and the selection criteria include preferential consideration to Louisiana Healthcare Connections members and Medicaid enrollees. New and existing students in the following priority programs should submit the scholarship application if interested. Scholarships are awarded on a first come first serve basis. The following programs are currently listed as priority programs.
- Students enrolled in the following areas of study – LPN, Medical and Billing, Health Coach, Telehealth, and Community Health Workers
