The Certified Line Worker Training Program will provide the necessary foundation for you to begin your line worker career as a helper / apprentice for an electric utility company.

Initial eligibility requirements are:

  • Must have a high school diploma, GED, or Hi-Set.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older by August 2024.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Pass the Work Keys Assessment with minimum score of 4’s in all areas.
Financial assistance may be available.

Graduates will:

  • Obtain NCCER Certification
  • Be qualified for employment as a line helper
  • Receive job placement assistance
