Eligibility Requirements for Accommodations

Delgado Community College students are eligible for accommodations if they:

are considered a person with a disability;
have identified themselves to the institution through the Office of Disability Services; and
have presented appropriate documentation regarding the disability to the institution as required by the Office of Disability Services.

Types of accommodations may include but are not limited to:

Extended Time for in-class assignments and/or tests
Distraction-free/Distraction-reduced testing environment
Interpreting Services
Captioning
Reading of Tests
Note Taking
Assistive Technologies
