The LoLA Portal Has a NEW DESIGN!

 

  • On Delgado's Homepage, access the Quick Links menu, and select LoLA Login.
  • New Users should select the New User set-up to start.

Hints to successfully setting up your LoLA account:

  1. Select the New user set-up under the Help section of the LoLA homepage
  2. Enter the email address that you used to create your Delgado application and birthday
  3. Continue to follow the directions to set up your new password.

You will need to access LoLA often. Please record and protect your username and password. Your educational records need to be kept confidential.

Admissions

Check Admission Requirements 

  • Select Student, Academic Links Card
  • Select Registration, then Prepare for Registration.
Financial Aid

Check Unsatisfied Requirements

  • Select Student
  • Select the Check Financial Aid
  • Select the Home tab view your list of requirements.

Check Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)

  • Select Student
  • Select Check Financial Aid
  • Select Satisfactory Academic Progress.

Accept Terms & Conditions & Financial Aid Award Offer

If prompted, you must first complete the action items:

  • Under Self Service Banner, select Financial Aid.
  • Select Check Financial Aid.
  • Make sure the current award year is selected in the upper righthand corner.
  • Select Award Offer.
  • View and Accept Award.
  • If accepting loans, you must complete Master Promissory Note (MPN) and Loan Entrance Counseling (LEC) at www.studentaid.gov.

Types of Financial Aid

Pell Grant - Unlike loans, grants do not have to be paid back. Students who have earned a bachelor’s degree are ineligible for a Pell Grant.

Direct Subsidized Loan - The Federal Subsidized Loan is a loan that must be repaid upon completion of school or interruption of studies. The student who qualifies may borrow up to $3,500 for the academic year as a freshman and $4,500 as a sophomore.

Direct Unsubsidized Loan - The Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan enables students to borrow regardless of need. Interest will accrue on this loan while the student is enrolled and may be paid or capitalized as agreed by the borrower and the lender.

Register For Classes

Adding Classes

  • Select Student
  • Select Add Classes, Register for Classes.
  • Select Term and click continue.
  • Find classes by searching in the subject box or enter the course number (CRN).
  • Once you have found the class you would like to enroll in, click add course to schedule. Click Advanced search and you can search by campus. Be sure you are selecting the correct campus and course type.*
  • In the Summary box, click Submit to register for classes.
  • If registration was successful, you will see the class on your current schedule.

*Course Types: W = Online, V = Virtual Live, H = Hybrid Face-to Face, VH = Hybrid Virtual, Face-to-Face = days, times, campus, and room number

Check Holds and/or Transcripts (under Academic Links)

  • Select Student, then Academic Profile.
  • View any holds or your unofficial transcript.
Secure Classes
 

Checking Authorized Aid to See If Classes Are Secured

  • Select Student 
  • Select Account Detail for Term under My Account. (Select the correct term)
  1. Authorized Financial Aid Balance - A dollar amount listed here means your classes are secured and will not be purged.
  2. Disbursement has occurred if your account balance is negative.
  3. Refunds have occurred if your account balance is zero ($0.00).

Entering in the Payment Plan to Secure Classes

Pay in full or use payment plan: You must use a credit card or check.

  • Select Student
  • Select Pay for Classes
Refund Selection
  • Select Student
  • Select Refund Choice located under the My Account block.
  • You will be redirected to BankMobile to set up profile.
