Fall 2021 Schedule 

Math (Tutoring begins Saturday August 14th and ends Monday November 29th)

When there are other students waitng for assistance:

  • Tutors will only work one problem per student. If the tutor has multiple students in a session, the student doesn’t have to leave the session after their question has been answered. They can wait for their turn again.
  • Tutors will only assist students on New course objectives (no prerequisite material).
  • The tutors role is to serve as clarification/assistance on material that has been taught by the instructor for the course that the student is currently enrolled in.
  • Students should contact their Instructor during Office hours for more one-on-one assistance
  • All passwords are 0000 for the math tutors.

The math tutor center at the City Park Campus will also be open.  It is located in Building 2 Room 217.

  • The hours of operation are Monday-Thursday: 9am-7pm. Fridays and Saturdays: 9am-2pm
  • YOU MUST WEAR AND KEEP A MASK ON AT ALL TIMES. 
  • Come with your questions written down! At the moment only 10 students will be allowed in the math tutor center.  If there are people waiting to come in,then the students who are already in the tutor center will have 20 minutes to ask their question(s). Afterwards that student will have to go back out and wait in line if they need further assistance.
  • The math tutors are available to assist you with material you have been taught by your instructor.
  • If you missed a lecture regarding specific math tops,you need to go see your instructor about learning that material. 



Science

West Bank Campus 

The new West Bank Advanced Technology Center’s Science Resource Center (WB Bldg.6, Room 124) will be open shortly with face-to-face tutoring options… check back soon for more details!  

Zoom Tutoring Fall 2021 

Please use the appropriate meeting IDs on the chart 

Due to the volume of students expected, tutors will not be responsible for teaching concepts. Students should reach out to their instructors during office hours for teaching concepts and one-on-one help. 

Students should come prepared with questions for tutors to answer given the possibility of several students being in the session.
